This course is designed to provide a clinically based topical review of peripheral vascular disease and its various treatments for health care professionals. This will be accomplished through lectures from experts in the field, case presentations, panel discussion and audience participation.

Objectives

  • Evaluate severity of vascular disease
  • Choose appropriate diagnostic testing for vascular conditions
  • Optimize medical therapy for patients with peripheral vascular disease
  • Distinguish the natural history of vascular disease in different arterial regions
  • Recognize the available vascular interventions for patients and their limitations
