Participants will learn a process for building mutual understanding and shared commitment instead of perpetuating resistance and misunderstanding. They will also learn the five key behaviors of communication that promote understanding and accountability. |

This session will focus on participants Executive Presence, a term that describes a highly experiential approach, focusing on learning “from the inside out,” and achieving a true mind-body link in the areas explored. Participants will participate in interactive exercises and activities that enable them to leave their mark on others at every level, in every interaction – through their personal power and physical presence, their ability to focus on their audience/listener, and their words.
Learn to identify the behaviors that convey executive presence; carry yourself in a manner that conveys your leadership vision; focus on the interests, needs, and desires of your listener to achieve a stronger personal connection and greater influencing power; and deliver information spontaneously in a manner that commands audience attention – dynamic, concise, persuasive, and results-oriented. |

At the end of the session, attendees will be able to recognize the importance of formal mentoring and be able to implement mentoring and mentee techniques. |

Interactive exercises and activities will allow attendees to experience what they are learning for a stronger transfer to the work environment. Participants will learn to gain command over their focus – always keeping their attention where it needs to be, on their audience. They will experience the power of relaxation – how to achieve it and even more important how to keep it when it counts. Attendees will “play” with the power of pictures when it comes to clarity. And, finally they will learn the three most important questions to ask when preparing for any presentation. |

In this session, participants will develop a personal plan for how to identify and manage stress in their careers and lives. Learn the basics of managing stress, what happens when we go into the “grip” of stress and identify the specifics of how you personally manage stress based on your Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). Participants will develop a personally relevant plan for how they intend to manage stress based on what they have learned.
A completed MBTI is required to attend this break-out session. Information on how to take the MBTI on-line will be given to registrants of this session. |
