Program Overview
This conference is designed to provide a forum for discussion of successes, challenges, and business strategies among Surgical Leaders. A diverse faculty will provide updates on surgical metrics, continuous improvement, integration, and predictive analytics. Surgical, educational, and scheduling innovations will also be shared.
Learning activities will be presented in several formats, including traditional lectures, workshops, and case discussions. There will be two keynote sessions each morning. The afternoon sessions are divided into three tracks: Managing Contributing Margin, The Cleveland Clinic Experience, and Innovations. Participants may select presentations from each track, but seating in each afternoon session is limited. All activities will be conducted in the host hotel with the active participation of the surgical divisions of the Cleveland Clinic Enterprise.
Target Audience
This conference is designed for Surgical Administrators, Nursing Leaders, Physicians, and Surgical Finance staff.
Learning Objectives
As a result of attending this conference, the participant will be able to:
- Describe strategies to manage contribution margin in a surgical setting
- Apply techniques for managing and engaging staff in a surgical setting
- Describe innovations in incorporating alternative practices into a surgical setting

The hotel and conference center is located on the campus of Cleveland Clinic. A block of rooms has been reserved at the InterContinental Hotel until 5:00 pm (EST), August 20, 2012. Identify yourself as being with the CCF Surgical Operations National Conference (reservation code SNC) for a special rate of $189 single/double (plus tax). After August 20th, the discounted rate will still be available to attendees based on room availability.

Registration and Cancellation
Registrations are accepted by fax or online until 4:00 pm (EST), Wednesday, September 19th. To register after this date, you must do so on-site. Requests for a refund must be received in writing by September 5th, 2012. A $50 cancellation fee will be deducted from the refund. No refunds will be given after September 5th, but registration is transferable for this conference through September 19th.

Parking is available in the East 100th St./Carnegie Ave. Visitor's Parking Garage at prevailing rates. Valet parking is available at the hotel for an additional charge.

The Cleveland Clinic Foundation Center for Continuing Education is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The Cleveland Clinic Foundation Center for Continuing Education designates this live activity for a maximum of 12.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Participants claiming CME credit from this activity may submit the credit hours to the American Osteopathic Association for Category 2 credit.
