Learning Objectives

  1. Provide a critical review of the barriers to quality care that LGBT patients and athletes face.
  2. Demonstrate Cultural competency and Professionalism in the treatment of LGBT patients.
  3. Describe diseases that LGBT populations are at increased risk for and current update on Psychiatry and Transgender patients.
  4. Demonstrate local and regional community health resources for LGBT patients and anti-bullying for LGBT youth.
