New Hematology/Oncology Series

The Webcast Series From MDS to AML and Back Again: How Disease Biology Allows Us to Personalize Therapy was filmed live during a satellite symposium at the 51st American Society of Hematology Annual Meeting. The goal of this program is to educate international hematology practitioners and researchers on the distribution and subtypes of myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) and acute myeloid leukemia (AML) worldwide. In addition to pathobiology and clonal evolution, it will also explore disease progression and treatment approaches for patients with MDS or AML syndromes with a focus on overlapping therapies. Discussions will encompass development of treatment strategies that target mechanisms of neoplastic evolution and other basic MDS and AML disorder mechanisms.
