Description
The case-based lesson will provide a clinically based overview of current issues in the multidisciplinary management of patients with lung cancer, with an emphasis on the impact of comorbidities on the selection of treatment.
Learning Objectives
- Discuss the current standards for lung cancer screening, diagnosis, and staging.
- Compare and contrast the efficacy and safety of treatment options for early and late-stage lung cancer, especially in patients with significant comorbidities.
- Debate the treatment options for both obstructive lung disease and lung cancer from surgical and medical viewpoints.
Target Audience
This activity is directed to medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pulmonologists, thoracic surgeons, internists, and nurses.
