Description
The Traditional and Emerging Approaches to Challenging Cases in Anesthesiology Series includes cases, corresponding to articles from Anesthesiology News.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

  1. Discuss preoperative cardiac assessment for bilateral total knee replacement (BTKR).
  2. Describe anesthetic technique options for BTKR.
  3. List the influence of anesthetic technique on outcome for BTKR.
  4. Discuss the most common intraoperative management challenges for BTKR.
  5. Describe proper postoperative care after BTKR.

This activity is directed to anesthesiologists.
