Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the participant will be able to:
- List the components of the Systemic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (SIRS).
- Discuss herd immunity and its value in prevention of disease.
- Discuss the options available for influenza immunization in the 2010-2011 season.
- Elaborate on treatment options for those with influenza.

Directed to primary care physicians including family practitioners and internists.
