Description

The purpose of this activity is to review, understand and utilize the safety checklist for all invasive procedures.

Learning Objectives

  1. Explain the importance of teamwork during a procedure or surgery.
  2. Describe the three phases of the safety checklist:  sign in, time out & sign out.
  3. Describe who is appropriate to mark the procedure site.

This activity is directed to all healthcare providers.
