Description

Rheumatology Cases on the Web (COWs) is an online case-based series that provides an in-depth review of basic and clinical aspects and the effect of recent advances in rheumatic diseases. Expert faculty offer succinct cases on biologic safety, tuberculosis, cardiovascular disease and rheumatoid arthritis, spondyloarthropathies, and lupus, as well as the rationale for both right and wrong answers within each case.

The Cardiovascular Risk Screening and Management Strategies in RA: What Are We Waiting For? case reviews the risk for cardiovascular disease in patients with RA and cardiovascular assessment, screening, and risk reduction strategies.

  3. Summarize the best approaches for reducing the CV risks associated with RA.

This educational series is designed for rheumatologists, internal medicine physicians and other health care professionals interested in rheumatic diseases.
