Description / Overview

Controversies, Choices & Collaboration CME Series offers a convenient opportunity to gain knowledge of new advancements in cardiovascular disease
management. This three-part interactive series offers presentations and discussions of patient case histories and new medical and surgical advancements. Surgeons and Internists will take away practical
knowledge to assist in developing strategies to optimize patient outcomes.

Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

  1. Describe the options for the latest therapies in atrial fibrillation and choose
    the appropriate therapy for an individual patient.
  2. Recognize the importance of the left atrial appendage in the pathogenesis of stroke in patients with atrial fibrillation.
