Description

Sections of the 10th Annual Pain Management Symposium was captured and repurposed into a CME webcast series.  This series will focus on Cancer Pain evidence-based pain management and emerging therapies in pain management.  In addition it will feature state-of the art interventional techniques by world experts in the field.

Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

1. Discuss the proper use of analgesics used intrathecally.
2. Cite the rationale for an algorithmic approach to intrathecal drug use.
3. Discuss common causes of cancer pain.
4. Describe the factors that are increasing the incidence of chronic cancer pain.

Target Audience

Practitioners and healthcare professionals who seek the latest developments in pain medicine, anesthesia providers, orthopedic surgeons, primary care physicians, physical therapists and nurses who are interested in the practice of pain management.
