Description

Sections of the 10th Annual Pain Management Symposium was captured and repurposed into a CME webcast series.  This series will focus on Cancer Pain evidence-based pain management and emerging therapies in pain management.  In addition it will feature state-of the art interventional techniques by world experts in the field.

Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

  1. Define refractory migraine and its application to the patient selection criteria for peripheral nerve stimulation for headache pain.
  2. Describe clinical trial results from fast and slow titration studies.
  3. Discuss the incidence and management of side effects associated with intrathecal ziconotide administration.

Target Audience

Practitioners and healthcare professionals who seek the latest developments in pain medicine, anesthesia providers, orthopedic surgeons, primary care physicians, physical therapists and nurses who are interested in the practice of pain management.
