Description / Overview

The purpose of this activity is to review the management of and discuss the treatment options for a patient with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) who has hepatic dysfunction.

Objectives At the conclusion of this activity, the participant will be able to:
  1. Identify relevant factors for management of hepatic dysfunction in a patient with RA.
  2. Review safety data concerning hepatic dysfunction and disease-modifying antirheumatic drug (DMARD) use in patients with RA.
  3. Discuss treatment options for a patient with RA who has hepatic dysfunction.
Target Audience This activity is directed to rheumatologists and primary care physicians who treat patients with RA.
