Description / Overview

The purpose of this activity is to review how imaging techniques might assist in the evaluation of a patient with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and how these techniques correlate to clinical response and affect RA treatment decisions.

Objectives At the conclusion of this activity, the participant will be able to:
  1. Identify and explain imaging techniques used for management of a patient with RA.
  2. Review data that correlates results from imaging to clinical response in patients with RA.
  3. Discuss treatment options for a patient with RA, taking into account results from imaging studies.
Target Audience This activity is directed to rheumatologists and primary care physicians who treat patients with RA.
