Description
This half-day online event will include presentations by healthcare experts who will provide advances in diagnosis and care of the adult and pediatric patients living with Neuromyelitis Optica.
Objectives
At the conclusion of the seminar, participants will be able to:
- Illustrate the recent updates in diagnosis and management of neuromyelitis optica disease.
- Understand available treatment options for neuromyelitis optica including management of acute relapses, disease modifying therapy, and symptomatic treatment options.
- Understand and learn strategies for the high prevalence of mental health symptoms and disorders in chronic disease.
- Describe the risk of COVID-19 in NMOSD patients and how the pandemic has affected NMOSD patient’s lives.
