Objectives |
At the conclusion of this activity, the participant will be able to:
- Define acute Herpes zoster and risk factors for development of Herpes zoster.
- Describe the diagnosis and treatment of acute Herpes zoster.
- Describe the complications associated with acute Herpes zoster.
- Describe epidemiology of post herpetic neuralgia and risk factors
for development of post herpetic neuralgia.
- Differentiate between acute pain and chronic neuropathic pain.
- Describe the measures to prevent & treat post herpetic neuralgia.
