Description
The purpose of this activity is to assist clinicians in the differential diagnosis and management of autoimmune neuropathies, specifically multifocal motor neuropathy, using case-based examples supported by evidence-based clinical studies.
Objectives
After completing this learning activity, the participant will be able to:
- Explain the pathologies and clinical presentations of autoimmune neuropathies.
- Summarize the clinical, electrodiagnostic, and laboratory findings characteristic of the autoimmune neuropathies.
- Assess the therapies used to treat autoimmune neuromuscular disease and discriminate between conditions in which they should and should not be used.
Target Audience
This activity is targeted to neurologists.
