This symposium is intended for an international audience of physicians,
nurses, social workers, pharmacists and other healthcare provides involved
with palliative care of patients. |
Description |
As presented March 24, 2006 during
the 10th International Palliative Medicine Symposium, this activity is designed to introduce new medications to improve
subcutaneous medication administration. |
Objectives |
At the conclusion of this activity, the participant will be able to:
- Discuss the role of subcutaneous infusions in palliative medicine.
- Discuss ways to increase the comfort of subcutaneous infusion.
