Who should attend?
The course is designed for a multidisciplinary audience. Physicians, nurses, residents, fellows, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other health care professionals in primary care as well as other specialties such as Endocrinology, Surgery, Pathology, Genetics, Immunology, and Oncology are invited to attend.
After completing this course, participants will be able to:
- Critically appraise the latest advances in pheochromocytoma and paragangliomas to enhance the diagnosis and management of these rare disorders.
- Increase screening for Primary Aldosteronism (PA) and optimize detection of this common cause of secondary hypertension.
- Improve management of adrenal incidentalomas by sharing recent updates on the workup and management of adrenal incidentalomas.
- Evaluate aberrant pathologies affecting adrenal glands and their implications for diagnosis and treatment.
- Explain the pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, and management of congenital adrenal hyperplasia and other rare adrenal gland disorders.
