Cleveland Clinic Florida is pleased to present the Cleveland Clinic Gut Insights for APPs & PCPs / 9th EndoNurse & EndoTech Course. This one-day course is designed to deliver the latest knowledge and best practices in gastroenterology. Together, two complementary tracks provide a comprehensive, team-based educational experience that advances knowledge, skill and collaboration in digestive health.
Track 1: Gut Insights for APPs & PCPs
Through focused sessions on core symptom-based approaches; lower GI basics, red flags and prevention; hepatology essentials; acute GI and infections; pancreatobiliary, IBD and per-procedural medications, Track 1 participants will gain practical updates from expert faculty on emerging advances and clinical challenges. Engaging panel discussions and interactive Q&A will highlight real-world topics such as peptic ulcer, colitis, viral hepatitis, GI bleeds, IBD and more.
Track 2: 9th EndoNurse & EndoTech Course
Held in parallel, Track 2 offers nurses, technicians, and GI support staff essential updates in endoscopic equipment and techniques. This unique program includes case-based learning presented by Cleveland Clinic faculty at the forefront of gastroenterology and endoscopy. Topics include endoscopic ultrasound, ERCP, ergonomics in endoscopy, safety in the endoscopy suite and more.
By Participating, You Will Be Able To:
- Apply updated evidence-based guidelines to the screening, diagnosis, and management of common and high-risk gastrointestinal conditions in primary care and endoscopy settings
- Integrate structured communication and care coordination strategies between primary care/APPs and gastroenterology specialists to reduce diagnostic delays and redundant testing
- Increase patient adherence to GI screening and treatment plans through enhanced provider–patient education, shared decision-making, and culturally sensitive counseling, resulting in earlier detection and improved disease control
- Demonstrate correct use of new endoscopic technologies and devices through hands-on training, including scope handling, reprocessing, and complication recognition
- Implement standardized endoscopy safety protocols—including infection control measures and adverse event management—into daily clinical workflows to improve procedural consistency
