Overview

The Annual Ted Engle Pediatric Liver Transplant Lectureship Series aims to gather thought leaders from around the globe to present new and emerging concepts related to the care of patients who may need or undergo a pediatric liver transplantation. Aimed at investigators from all stages of their career who study and practice pediatric hepatology, this year’s symposium will focus on advances in the treatment of metabolic liver disease in children. Our keynote speaker is Jeff Teckman, M.D., of Saint Louis University School of Medicine, who will discuss how research and new liver technologies have helped us discover new treatments and cures for pediatric liver diseases. Additional presentations by Vera Hupertz, M.D. and Kaddakal Radhakrishnan, both from Cleveland Clinic Children’s, on new treatments for pediatric cholestatic liver disorders and pediatric liver storage disorders, respectively, will round out the lectureship.
