Register to join your colleagues IN-PERSON for Nephrology Update 2026.  This year’s update will provide a review of the most up-to-date data and analyze it for implications in clinical practice, as well as focus on the most recent current topics that impact your practice.  Nephrology Update 2026 features experts that will address diagnosis and management strategies for patients with kidney disease including hypertension, cardio-metabolic-kidney syndrome, cystic kidney diseases, glomerular diseases, and vasculitis. It will also feature a special section on AKI in special populations including cancer patients, ICU patients, and those with advanced heart and liver disease. A multidisciplinary discussion around palliative nephrology will also be highlighted.

By Attending, You Will Be Able To:

  • Summarize the cardiovascular and metabolic complications of CKD and describe management strategies for reducing their risk.
  • Critically review the most recent evidence on the kidney-protective effects of GLP-1 receptor agonists therapy in patients with type 2 diabetes and CKD.
  • Describe advances in the management of ADPKD and other cystic kidney diseases and review their impact on clinical practice.
  • Provide an update on the pathogenesis and treatment of various glomerular diseases including IgA nephropathy, anti-GBM disease, ANCA-associated glomerulonephritis, lupus nephritis, thrombotic microangiopathy, and APOL1 nephropathy.
  • Summarize the safety and efficacy of newer therapies for hypertension, including renal denervation, aldosterone synthase inhibitors, endothelin receptor agonists, and hepatic angiotensinogen silencing RNA and describe their use in clinical practice, especially for resistant hypertension.
  • Evaluate the latest evidence-based treatment strategies for the hepato-renal and cardio-renal syndromes.
  • Highlight updated approaches to managing kidney-related complications in cancer patients, including the nephrotoxic effects of immune checkpoint inhibitors and targeted cancer therapeutics.
