Overview

The areas of airway, voice, and swallowing are frequently discussed, assessed, and treated in isolation.  Moreover, professional conferences most often address each separately.  The purpose of this innovative conference is to bring them together in an integrated, synthesized form to better understand how to assess and treat patients in a multidisciplinary health care system.

By Participating, You Will Be Able To:

• Describe at least 3 cross-system influences on airway, voice, and swallowing functions
• Describe multidisciplinary approaches to the assessment of airway, voice, and swallowing functions
• Describe multidisciplinary approaches to the treatment of airway, voice, and swallowing impairments
