The Basic and Clinical Immunology Webcast Series features webcasts by a faculty of experts and summarizes talks presented during the 9th Annual Basic and Clinical Immunology: Immunopathogenesis and Treatment of Immune Mediated Inflammatory Diseases and the Immunologic Basis of Wellness Symposium. Designed for busy clinicians who desire to increase their declarative and procedural knowledge on the integrated immune response, immunologic advances (pathogenesis, diagnosis, biomarkers) in key autoimmune diseases from a targeted therapy and treatment guidelines perspective, and how lifestyle and behavior affect immune response.


Rheumatoid Arthritis webcast highlights the use of imaging to predict transition to RA, the changing landscape of TNF-I tapering, and RA therapeutics.

Learning Objectives

  1. Define the ability to predict transition to RA by imaging.
  2. Identify the changing landscape of TNF-I tapering.
  3. Comprehend the future role of synovial biopsy and pathotyping in RA therapeutics.

Target Audience

The educational activity is designed for rheumatologists, dermatologists, infectious disease, allergists, clinical immunologists, and specialists in integrative medicine, preventive medicine, wellness, primary care and other health care professionals caring for patients with immunologic diseases.

American Board of Internal Medicine MOC
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 0.50 Medical Knowledge MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

Your credit will be reported to the ABIM within 30 days of claiming credit.
