Description
Watch Basic and Clinical Immunology for the Busy Clinician on-demand webcast series to receive instruction from leading experts in the field of immunology. The series begins with an overview of advances in immunology, and then leads into a review of hot topics in immunology. Education also focuses on the standard of care for SpA and PsA, along with new developments in treatments for SAPHO, SLE, and complement and vasculitis. The webcasts are also devoted to topics related to COVID-19 and rheumatologists/clinical immunologists, including vaccines, long COVID, and cytokine storm, wellness and treating the COVID-19 patient long-term.
Learning Objectives
- Describe the integrated immune response as it applies to host defense and immune-mediated diseases and recognize recent advances that may influence patient care.
- Describe initial CAR-T Cell application in rheumatology.
- Identify what CAR-T Cell efficacy tell us about disease mechanism and B cell biology.
- Define implications for rheumatic disease therapy.

The online series is directed to rheumatologists; dermatologists; infectious disease clinicians; allergists; clinical immunologists; specialists in integrative medicine, preventive medicine, wellness, and primary care; nurses; physician assistants, and other health care professionals caring for patients with immunologic diseases.
