Description

Depression affects 10% to 20% of women during pregnancy or postpartum, but it can be difficult to recognize.

Learning Objective

Readers will be alert to the possibility of perinatal depression in new mothers.

Target Audience

Directed to practitioners in internal medicine, obstetrics/genecology, perinatology, women’s health, and psychiatry/psychology.

ABPath CC: Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 1.0 Lifelong Learning (Part II) credits in the American Board of Pathology’s Continuing Certification (CC) program (formerly known as MOC). Participants will earn CC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABPath CC credit. 

Your credit will be reported to the ABPath within 30 days of claiming credit.

ABP MOC: Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the activity and individual assessment of and feedback to the learner, enables the learner to earn up to 1.0 MOC points in the American Board of Pediatrics’ (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABP MOC credit.

Your credit will be reported to the ABP within 30 days of claiming credit.

ABS MOC: This activity qualifies for 1.0 self-assessment credits toward Part 2 of the American Board of Surgery (ABS) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program.
