In the Biologic Therapies VIII: The Intersection of Rheumatology and Allied Specialties online series, an international, multi-disciplinary faculty of experts focuses on interdisciplinary rheumatology by exploring the interface of rheumatology with disciplines such as infectious disease, gastroenterology, neurology, oncology, dermatology, pulmonology, ophthalmology, and wellness.

Interdisciplinary Management of irAEs webcast highlights rheumatic immune related adverse events (irAEs) from cancer immunotherapy, emphasizing translational biology and clinical implications.

Learning Objectives

  1. Describe the key clinical features, epidemiology and pathogenesis of common rheumatic irAEs
  2. Initiate care, referral and therapy for such patients
  3. Critically appraise the unanswered questions emerging in this rapidly evolving field

Target Audience

The online series is designed for rheumatologists, dermatologists, gastroenterologists, infectious disease physicians, pulmonologists, neurologists, oncologists, ophthalmologists, internal medicine physicians, and allied health practitioners, including nurse practitioners, nurses, and physician assistants interested in complex multiorgan autoimmune and autoinflammatory diseases.
