Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Grand Rounds 2020 CME-certified webcast series features
presentations from the Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Institute Grand Rounds. Faculty
provide evidence-based guidance on the diagnosis and management of challenging cases in
prostate disease, renal neoplasms, GI, hepatobiliary/ pancreatic, endometrial and uterine
masses, pancreatic and lung cytology, bone and soft tissue lesions and pulmonary pathology.
Learning Objectives
Review a practical approach to donor liver biopsies.
List the major pathologic findings that have emerged from COVID-19
autopsies.
Compare the pathology of fatal COVID-19 with the pathology of other fatal
viral
illnesses.
Distinguish between established pathologic findings in COVID-19 and areas of
controversy.
