Overview
A gap in knowledge exists in methods to study the translation of research evidence into practice, an essential component to improving care delivery. Implementation science methods can be utilized to understand and rigorously capture elements of context in healthcare implementation settings. This can improve understanding of clinical effectiveness outcomes and provide knowledge that can inform future implementation efforts to improve care.
This meeting is intended for Clinicians, Researchers and Healthcare Administrators involved in care delivery.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, the participant will be able to
- Discuss what constitutes an adaptation of processes, content, and delivery in implementation
- Discuss the role of adaptations in different phases of implementation
- Discuss a case example that systematically captured adaptations
