Overview

This CME activity will present a multidisciplinary approach to management of children and young adults with inflammatory bowel disease. We will focus on advanced-level topics including complicated perianal disease, the global trends in pediatric IBD, and the use of artificial intelligence in clinical care.  We will also include case-based discussions with didactics.  Audience participation in the discussions is encouraged.

By Attending, You Will Be Able To:

  • Identify risk factors and poor outcomes for pediatric Crohn's disease and perianal disease.
  • Compare emerging therapeutic options for pediatric Crohn's disease.
  • Identify emerging technologies and their clinical implications
  • Report changes in the global epidemiology and burden of pediatric IBD.
  • Provide new insights into environmental factors which may influence the changing epidemiology of IBD.
  • Describe the use of routinely collected health data to conduct research in IBD
