Overview

The Annual Ted Engle Pediatric Liver Transplant Lectureship Series aims to gather thought leaders from around the globe to present new and emerging concepts related to the care of patients who may need or undergo a pediatric liver transplantation. Aimed at investigators from all stages of their career who study and practice pediatric hepatology, this year’s symposium will focus on the evaluation and management of pediatric portal hypertension. Our keynote speaker is Kyle Soltys, M.D., of University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, who will discuss the surgeon's approach to mitigating complications of portal hypertension in children. Additional presentations by Sameer Gadani, M.D. and Kaddakal Radhakrishnan, both from Cleveland Clinic Children’s, on the interventional radiologic and medical evaluation of pediatric portal hypertension, respectively, will round out the lectureship.
