Join us for the Wellness and Preventive Medicine Annual Conference, April 24, 2026!
Why Attend?
Most of the chronic conditions in the United States are lifestyle driven, yet most clinicians received little formal education in lifestyle intervention during training. Many patients seek complementary medical interventions, which are also rarely discussed in conventional medicine training.
This conference aims to provide attendees with a framework to assess and support common chronic conditions using lifestyle, integrative and functional medicine approaches. Specific, evidence-based tools in each of these areas will be shared with attendees, with the goal to empower attendees to provide lifestyle intervention counseling to patients. Evidence-based discussion of complementary medicine will also help attendees understand the indication and limitation of these modalities for patient care. Specific conditions in brain health, aging, mental health, hormone balance, and culinary medicine will be discussed.
Course Objectives
By attending, you will be able to:
- Implement lifestyle recommendations to reduce dementia risk and optimize brain function.
- Recommend complementary modalities to support men and women transitioning through menopause and aging.
- Identify the impact of mental health on chronic disease and prescribe mindfulness practice tools.
- Discover culinary medicine to recommend simple nutritional considerations for longevity and chronic disease management.
New for 2026: Poster Sessions!
We are excited to invite submissions for our inaugural poster session at the Wellness and Preventive Medicine Annual Conference. This is an excellent opportunity to present your work and contribute to advancing our field.
You do not need to be a researcher to submit. We welcome abstracts from both researchers and clinicians and are committed to showcasing both research studies and clinical innovations during the poster session.
We welcome a variety of submission types, including:
- Research-focused: Original research studies, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, or data-driven investigations
- Clinical innovation: Novel clinical programs, innovative care models, care delivery innovations, successful implementation of evidence-based interventions
- Quality assessment/quality improvement projects: Quality improvement (QI) initiatives, program evaluations
We encourage submissions from all healthcare professionals. As long as we receive enough submissions, we will make sure all abstract types are represented.
The submission deadline is January 9, 2026 by 5:00pm ET. Notification date is February 9, 2026.
If accepted, you will receive a discount on your registration fee!
Also, if accepted, we will ask you to submit a short, pre-recorded summary of your poster, as well as a PDF of your poster.
