The Unlocking Artificial Intelligence - AI Radiology Symposium is a practical, clinician-centered CME course that explores how AI is reshaping day-to-day diagnostic care. This 1.5-day program goes beyond the basics to examine not only implementation strategies, but also emerging concepts such as foundation models and agentic AI — technologies that are rapidly redefining how clinical decision support can be delivered.
Participants will learn about the role of AI in clinical radiology, from selecting and evaluating tools to integrating them into real workflows, with a strong emphasis on practical concepts as well as governance and regulatory considerations. The course will highlight what happens after deployment by focusing on ongoing monitoring, outcomes, and value assessment to ensure AI systems remain safe, effective, and aligned with patient care goals. This symposium will equip radiologists, clinicians, and trainees with the confidence and insight needed to harness AI and drive meaningful outcomes.
By Participating, You Will Be Able To:
- Demonstrate improved understanding of purchase considerations, regulatory expectations, and governance structures that guide responsible AI use, enabling safer oversight and reduced risk in clinical implementation
- Assess AI product quality, limitations, and interoperability with existing systems, leading to more informed adoption decisions and improved alignment of AI tools with clinical needs
- Interpret and appropriately act on AI-generated results alongside diagnostic data, leading to more effective use of AI in daily practice and potential improvements in workflow efficiency and patient care quality
Who Should Attend?
This activity is targeted to a national audience of physicians, fellows, residents, researchers, technologists, students, and informatics professionals in the fields of radiology and pathology.
