Low-dose Aspirin Therapy

• Describe contemporary guidelines for starting low-dose aspirin for the primary prevention of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.
• Explain how low-dose aspirin guidance changes in patients as they age.
• Critically appraise the use of low-dose aspirin among patients with established cardiovascular disease and / or taking systemic anticoagulation.

Directed to primary care physicians including family practitioners and internists.
