Abstract Submission Guidelines

7th Annual Advances in Congenital Heart Disease Summit

Submission Deadline: January 1, 2023

Notification to submitting authors: January 10, 2023

Please note the following rules:

  • Abstracts must be submitted in English using exclusively the on-line system through the Summit web page. Abstracts submitted via fax or email will not be accepted.
  • The abstract must be a maximum of 300 words and no penalty for one (1) figure and one (1) header. The number of authors is not limited. Content may be previously published.
  • The abstract should contain the principal details of the study: the aim, methodology, results and conclusions. When mentioning drugs, their names should be in line with the international nomenclature.
  • Original research topics, video submissions, novel case reports, examples of uses of innovative technologies, and “How I Do It” submissions will be accepted.
  • The Planning Committee of the 7th Annual Advances in Congenital Heart Disease Summit will select abstracts for the moderated poster presentations and will determine the top two abstracts for presentation on Saturday, February 18, 2023. The top two abstracts will receive complimentary registration for the 8th Annual Advances in Congenital Heart Disease Summit in 2024.
  • Revisions will not be accepted, so please ensure accuracy prior to submission.
  • Abstracts must be received by the announced deadline, January 1, 2023. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered. Submission of an abstract acknowledges your consent for the abstract to be published in the official program.
  • Authors will be notified by e-mail no later than January 10, 2023, whether their abstract has been accepted or rejected, and, in case of acceptance, about the form of presentation (oral or poster).
  • Presenting authors of abstracts must be registered participants at the 7th Annual Advances in Congenital Heart Disease Summit. Registration must be received no later than January 25, 2023, to ensure that your abstract is included in the Summit program and scheduled for presentation.
  • The presenting authors must disclose prior to the course in order to present. The presenting author cannot be an employee of an ineligible company if the content of the abstract relates to their employers’ business line and/or products.
  • All expenses (e.g., registration, airfare, lodging, etc.) associated with the submission and presentation are the responsibility of the presenter.


Summit Dates: February 16-18, 2023 at the Orlando World Center Marriott, Orlando, FL

Abstract Submission launch: June 2022

Registration & Hotel launch: June 2022

Deadline for abstract submission: January 1, 2023

Deadline for registration for abstract authors: January 25, 2023
