Abstract Submission Guidelines
8th Annual Advances in Congenital Heart Disease Summit
Submission Deadline: January 15, 2024
Notification to submitting authors: January 22, 2024
Please note the following rules:
- Abstracts must be submitted in English using exclusively the on-line system through the Summit web page. Abstracts submitted via fax or email will not be accepted.
- The abstract must be a maximum of 300 words and no penalty for one (1) figure and one (1) header. The number of authors is not limited. Content may be previously published.
- The abstract should contain the principal details of the study: the aim, methodology, results and conclusions. When mentioning drugs, their names should be in line with the international nomenclature.
- Original research topics, novel case reports, examples of uses of innovative technologies, and “How I Do It” submissions will be accepted.
- The Planning Committee of the 8th Annual Advances in Congenital Heart Disease Summit will select abstracts for the moderated poster presentations and will determine the top two abstracts for presentation. The top two abstracts will receive complimentary registration for the 9th Annual Advances in Congenital Heart Disease Summit in 2025.
- Revisions will not be accepted, so please ensure accuracy prior to submission.
- Abstracts must be received by the deadline, January 15, 2024. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered.
- Authors will be notified by e-mail no later than January 22, 2024, whether their abstract has been accepted or rejected, and, in case of acceptance, about the form of presentation (oral or poster).
- Presenting authors of abstracts must be registered participants for the 8th Annual Advances in Congenital Heart Disease Summit at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Registration must be received before February 8, 2024, to ensure that your abstract is scheduled for presentation.
- Poster specs – maximum poster size is 4’ (h) by 6’ (w). Please allow at least a two-inch margin to allow for affixing on the display boards. We recommend selecting a font size of at least 20 pt. Abstracts will be displayed throughout the course from Thursday, February 22 through Saturday, February 24, 2024.
- Presenting authors must disclose prior to the course. The presenting author cannot be an employee of an ineligible company if the content of the abstract relates to their employers’ business line and/or products.
- All expenses (e.g., registration, airfare, lodging, printing, etc.) associated with the submission and presentation are the responsibility of the presenter.

Abstract Submission launch: August 2023
Registration & Hotel launch: August 2023
Deadline for abstract submission: January 15, 2024
Deadline for registration for abstract authors: February 8, 2024
