The heart team is a multidisciplinary group of cardiovascular specialists who collaborate to evaluate and determine the best treatment plan for a patient's heart condition. The team includes: cardiac anesthesiologists, cardiac surgeons, cath lab specialists, clinical cardiologists, echocardiographer or CT specialists, interventional cardiologists, sonographers, nurses and physician assistants.
